Earn $10 per day for the first 4 weeks , contingent upon no absences. Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to join our food manufacturing and packaging team. The position operates an automated packaging machine used to vacuum-pack uncooked meat products. Experience operating the specific machine is preferred, but ULMA machine experience is not required . Candidates with experience operating food-processing or industrial packaging machinery may also be considered and trained on our specific equipment. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a cold food-processing environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate automated vacuum-packaging equipment during production. Load packaging materials and perform film changes as needed. Make basic machine adjustments to maintain proper packaging and production flow. Monitor packages for proper seals, vacuum, labeling, and overall quality. Identify and safely clear machine jams. Perform basic troubleshooting and assist with routine machine maintenance. Complete required production and downtime documentation. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety and food-safety procedures. Follow USDA, FDA, GMP, HACCP, and other applicable food-processing requirements. Work efficiently to minimize downtime and packaging waste. Qualifications Preferred Experience 1-3 years of experience operating machinery in a food-processing, manufacturing, or packaging environment preferred. Experience with vacuum packaging or thermoforming equipment is a plus. Experience with ULMA equipment is strongly preferred but not required . Experience with other food-processing or industrial machinery will be considered. Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn machine operation and basic troubleshooting. Ability to follow detailed instructions and production procedures. Strong attention to quality and food-safety standards. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. Education High school diploma or GED preferred. Relevant technical or trade-school training is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift. Ability to work in a cold food-processing environment , approximately 40°F-50°F. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds , including packaging materials and machine tooling. Ability to safely perform machine adjustments, changeovers, and other production tasks. Why Join Us?
