Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Schulenburg, Texas. The Machine Operator, will be responsible for the efficient operation of injection molding machines to produce high-quality parts made of polypropylene and other thermoplastics. This position requires a keen attention to detail, a strong understanding of machine operations and material properties, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A Day In The Life
- Operate injection molding machines to produce components made from polypropylene, ensuring products are of high quality and conform to set specifications.
- Monitor the production process and identify and report any product defects to the supervisor
- Perform second operations on parts including adding metal components and trimming parts as required.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities, types, and dimensions of produced components.
- Adhere to safety, quality and productivity standards including wearing proper PPE and work appropriate attire
- Collaborate with quality control personnel to identify and rectify defects or inconsistencies in product batches.
- Assist in the training of new staff on machine operation procedures and safety protocols.
- Keep the work area clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment. What will help you thrive in this role?
