Experience Requirements Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Fabrication Operator, Metal Fabricator, Press Operator, Brake Press Operator, or Manufacturing Associate preferred. Experience operating metal fabrication equipment in a production or manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, measurements, and technical specifications. Knowledge of safe machine operation and quality standards. Preferred Qualifications Experience operating cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, punch presses, forming machines, or similar fabrication equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality parts. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Frequent use of hands and arms to operate machinery and handle materials. Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and moving equipment. Capable of lifting and positioning metal materials as required. Job Duties Set up and operate metal fabrication machinery to cut, bend, shape, punch, and form metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structural components. Read blueprints, work orders, and job specifications to determine machine settings and material requirements. Adjust machine controls, stops, guides, and tooling to ensure accurate production. Measure materials using scales, rulers, templates, and precision measuring tools. Monitor machine performance and inspect finished products for quality and accuracy. Perform routine machine adjustments and report equipment issues as needed. Follow safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and support production goals.
