SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Saw Operator - Assembler to join our team. The Saw Operator - Assembler will Operate CNC saw, Band saw and assemble components to create finished assemblies. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, safety-conscious, and willing to take on various tasks within the manufacturing environment.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Operate CNC saw, Band saw and assemble components to create finished assemblies.
Cut parts as per specifications.
Paint finished assemblies as per specifications.
Package items for shipment to ensure safe delivery.
Familiarity with tape measures , using decimals or fractions
Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Perform other duties in the warehouse as needed to support team operations Requirements
EHS REQUIREMENTS
Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company's TRIR goals. Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company's environmental performance goals. Complete, and actively participate in all the company's Safety Skills training requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence. Basic proficiency with hand tools is preferred. Capable of regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as required. Must successfully pass a drug test and background check as part of the hiring process. Experience operating an overhead crane and forklift is a strong advantage.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to maneuver to all areas of a shop or warehouse. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to safely bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at area. Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand tools and mechanical tools. Must be able to work at a fast pace. Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work environment is typically considered within an ELS location during normal or extended business hours. Work environment may also include customer sites including oil well sites, and meeting venues.
