OPERATOR EXTRUSION
Summary An Extrusion Operator is an entry-level position in the ERP extrusion area. Personnel hired into this position are trained on one or more of the following operations: extrusion, taping, inline cutting and drilling, post curing and packaging product required for orders. Job Responsibilities Follow work instructions to safely and efficiently complete production Report daily production accurately Set up necessary equipment based on established standards Verify products meet quality standards Measure parts using calipers and rulers to ensure parts are proper size Understand process sheets, work instructions, and product prints Report to work as scheduled and on time. Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent is preferred Must be safety conscience Must be able to keep detailed records Must have good hand and eye coordination, good eyesight, corrective lens acceptable Must be able to read/write English and make simple math calculations Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and sit or stand for long periods of time Must be able to maintain a clean work environment Must be able to work in a dusty, hot/cold environment Must be able to work as a team member Must have a willingness to cross train on multiple processes Payrate / Hours Starting Payrate - $15.50/hr + $0.50 increase with completion of training & 90-days 1st shift 7am-3:30pm 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm w/ +$1.00 shift differential 3rd shift 11pm-7:30am w/ +$2.00 shift differential EEOC
