Job Description

Homestead Cabinets is looking to hire an Assembly Technician to join our team. Homestead represents a new way of thinking and doing business, focusing on producing high-quality, state-of-the-art custom cabinetry. Position Details:
Shift Hours:
Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (some overtime may be required)
Starting Pay:
$16.00 per hour, depending on experience As an Assembly Technician , you will play an important role in manufacturing, assembly, and basic testing of products, while continuously seeking ways to improve the assembly area and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow work procedures, schematics, or verbal instructions to complete tasks Perform manufacturing and assembly operations according to Homestead's procedures, work instructions, and process aids Maintain daily production output to meet goals Participate in quality control inspections, ensuring both in-process and finished products meet standards Assist in other departments as needed to support overall operations Work collaboratively with team leads, engineers, supervisors, and managers to enhance quality and process efficiency
Qualifications/Requirements:
Strong ability to communicate and follow complex instructions Adherence to good manufacturing principles and processes Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality work A curiosity and desire to learn new skills and techniques
Physical Requirements:
Ability to frequently move, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and occasionally lift/move items over 50 lbs. with assistance Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time Comfortable working in a noisy and dusty environment Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed Frequent use of hands for grasping, clamping, and moving objects Frequent squatting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pivoting, and reaching At Homestead Cabinets , we offer a supportive environment where you can develop your skills and grow as part of a team.
