Nexeo HR is hiring a Ride Assembly & Packaging Technician to support a growing manufacturing team specializing in amusement ride systems and components— This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with mechanical assembly experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. In this position, you will assemble, package, and prepare amusement ride components for shipment while ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety standards are met. • Assemble and package amusement ride vehicles, components, and parts for shipment
• Verify all parts and assemblies are complete and properly prepared for safe delivery
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed
• Read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and job specifications
• Use hand and power tools to assist with assembly and packaging processes
• Maintain quality standards in accordance with company procedures and ASTM standards
• Assist with shipping preparation and organization of completed orders
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
• Perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, kneeling, and moving materials throughout the shift
• Work closely with production and shipping teams to meet customer deadlines
• Complete additional duties as assigned Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred
• Experience using hand tools and power tools required
• Ability to read engineering drawings, tape measures, and work instructions
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Positive attendance history and strong work ethic
• Ability to regularly lift 25+ pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds
• Forklift or overhead crane experience preferred
• Vocational or technical training is a plus Pay $18.00 Per Hour Schedule Day Shift Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Every other Friday off Nexeo Benefits
