Submittal Truss Saw Operator | St. George, UT Nexeo Staffing is actively hiring a Truss Saw Operator / Machine Operator for a well-established construction materials supplier supporting contractors and builders with lumber, trusses, doors, windows, and more. This is a great opportunity for candidates with construction, woodworking, or manufacturing experience looking for a stable, full-time role. Responsibilities Operate automated saw equipment to cut lumber for roof and floor trusses Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and measurements Accurately cut angles and ensure quality production standards Assemble trusses by hammering plates/gussets into place Feed materials into production equipment and run trusses through rollers Move, stack, and organize finished trusses Follow all safety protocols and machine operation guidelines Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace Qualifications Previous experience in construction, lumber, truss production, saw operation, or manufacturing preferred Strong math, measuring, and tape measure skills Ability to read work orders or building instructions Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or on a team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive hammering motions Comfortable working in a physically demanding, labor-intensive rolePreferred:
