Bevel HR is hiring a Shop Assistant / Machine Operator on behalf of Closet Creations, a custom closet and cabinetry company that has been in St. George for close to 30 years. They have a lot of work coming in and are looking for someone who wants to learn their process and take ownership of it. What you'll do Run the beam saw, CNC drill and dowel insertion machine, and contour bander Build drawer boxes and cabinet doors to spec Do routine maintenance on your machines Keep your station, tools, and carts clean, and help with general shop cleanup Work with the production team to hit daily goals What you need Ability to read a tape measure and calipers in both standard and metric Comfort using computer screens and working out how a machine's software works Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a full shift Clear communication with your coworkers What they'll teach you You'll be trained on the shop's process and each machine's controls. Shop experience helps but isn't required. What sets people apart here The best hires learn how the whole shop flows, take care of their machines, and jump in to help when someone falls behind. Within 30 days you'll be building drawer boxes, handling machine maintenance, and running doors, drawers, and the bander on your own. Schedule and pay Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM $18 to $24 per hour, depending on experience Paid holidays and vacation after one year You'll be hired directly by Closet Creations. Bevel HR is handling the hiring process.

Pay:

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
