Submittal Machine Operator | Logan, UT Nexeo HR is hiring Machine Operators for a long-term, contract-to-hire opportunity with a well-established metal fabrication company in Hyde Park. This is not a traditional machining role—it's a hands-on position in a fast-paced fabrication shop environment, working directly with metal sheets and operating equipment such as lasers, press brakes, and shears. This role is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy physical, production-based work and want to build a stable career in manufacturing. Responsibilities Operate fabrication machinery safely and efficiently Load and unload metal sheets and materials Monitor machine performance and report issues as needed Perform basic quality checks using measuring tools Follow production schedules and supervisor instructions Maintain a clean and organized work area Adhere to all safety standards and procedures Qualifications Ability to pass a drug screening and background check (no felonies or misdemeanors in the last 7 years) Prior machine operation or manufacturing experience (fabrication shop preferred) Experience in a fabrication shop is a strong plus (not traditional machining) CNC experience is considered transferable Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Proven job stability (2+ years in previous roles required) Pay $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Schedule Day Shift | Monday-Thursday | 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM (4x10s) Swing Shift | Monday-Thursday | 4:30 PM - 2:30 AM (4x10s) Nexeo Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Limited Life, Short-Term Disability.
