Submittal Tube Bending Machine Operator | Logan, UT Nexeo HR is hiring a skilled Tube Bending Machine Operator to join a high-end metal fabrication shop in Cache Valley. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience with manual tube bending equipment in a production environment and operating CNC. This is a full-time, long-term position with consistent hours and the opportunity to be hired on permanently. Responsibilities Set up and operate manual tube bending machines (such as rotary draw benders, mandrel benders, or roll benders). Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and bend specifications including angles, radii, and tolerances. Load raw material (metal tubing) and ensure proper alignment before bending. Perform precision bends on stainless steel, aluminum, or mild steel tubing according to specifications. Adjust machine settings, tooling, and programs to ensure accurate production. Use measuring tools such as calipers, angle finders, and gauges to verify part quality. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to maintain high-quality standards. Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance on machines and tooling. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. Qualifications Previous experience operating tube bending machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred. Experience with CNC bending machines is highly desirable. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and bend charts. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Experience working with different types of metal tubing and wall thicknesses. Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
