In this energetic role, you will operate, monitor, and troubleshoot plastic injection molding machines to ensure efficient production and top-notch product quality. Your mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will drive our manufacturing excellence forward. This position offers an engaging environment where precision, teamwork, and continuous improvement are at the forefront of daily operations. Duties Set up and operate plastic injection molding machines, ensuring proper calibration and safety compliance Monitor machine performance throughout production runs, adjusting parameters as needed for optimal output Conduct quality inspections using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments to verify dimensional accuracy Troubleshoot mechanical issues with industrial equipment, including robotic systems, CNC lathes, press brake machines, and CNC machines Handle materials safely using forklifts and materials handling equipment to load raw plastics and remove finished products Perform routine maintenance on machinery in accordance with safety protocols to prevent downtime Document production data, quality measurements, and machine performance logs accurately for process tracking and continuous improvement efforts Qualifications Proven experience in plastics production or plastics blow molding is highly desirable Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machine operation, machining, and engineering troubleshooting Ability to perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments for quality control Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes and plastics extrusion techniques Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotic systems, CNC lathes, or press brake machines is a plus Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions and tolerances Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts preferred Commitment to safety protocol adherence and industrial equipment troubleshooting skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on lean manufacturing principles Join us in delivering excellence through innovative manufacturing!
