18.00 Temporary Are You a Master of Precision? We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Operator II to join our production team. This is not just a general labor role; it requires a specialist with a steady hand, a keen eye for detail, and a mastery of soldering techniques. If you thrive in a precision-focused environment and take pride in building complex electronic and mechanical components from the ground up, we want to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing As an Assembly Operator II, you will be the backbone of our precision manufacturing process.
Your day-to-day will involve:
Precision Assembly:
Using specialized tools to connect and align intricate parts in accordance with manufacturing drawings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Expert Soldering:
Performing high-quality hand soldering on electronic components and circuit assemblies.
Microscopic Inspection:
Utilizing microscopes to perform detailed assembly and quality checks on small-scale components.
Quality Control:
Monitoring automated technologies and reporting any faulty components or assembly errors immediately.
Documentation:
Completing work order documentation and suggesting process improvements to increase efficiency.
What We Are Looking For Non-Negotiable Requirements:
Soldering Expertise:
Demonstrated professional soldering experience in a manufacturing setting.
Technical Literacy:
Ability to read and comprehend manufacturing drawings, blueprints, and SOPs.
Fine Motor Skills:
Exceptional hand-eye coordination for fine assembly work.
Microscope Proficiency:
Proven experience using microscopes for detailed inspection and assembly.
Stamina & Focus:
Ability to sit for extended periods (8+ hours) while maintaining high levels of focus and precision.
Reliability:
A proven track record of consistent attendance and high performance standards. Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience involving soldering and assembly (2+ years preferred). Experience with IPC-610 or J-STD soldering standards is a significant plus.
