Job Description

About the Role As a Precision Grinding Technician, you will play a critical role in our manufacturing operations by managing high-precision metal processing equipment. You will ensure that every component meets rigorous quality standards, contributing directly to the reliability and performance of our finished products. Responsibilities Operate and calibrate industrial grinding machinery to achieve precise dimensions on metal work pieces. Execute quality control inspections using gauges and precision tools to identify and address potential defects. Manage machine changeovers and setup adjustments to maintain continuous production flow. Monitor equipment performance, including gantry devices and robotic loaders, to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime. Utilize material handling equipment, such as hoists, cranes, and forklifts, to safely transport and position heavy components. Document production data accurately within the internal digital tracking system. Maintain a safe and organized work environment by strictly adhering to all environmental and safety protocols. Qualifications Required Skills Proven mechanical aptitude with prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Ability to lift, push, and pull between 10 and 50 lbs consistently. Capacity to stand and move throughout the facility for the duration of a shift. Demonstrated ability to follow complex technical instructions and safety guidelines. Willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Preferred Skills Experience with CNC or automated machine control programming. Background in precision metal machining or grinding operations. Prior certification or experience operating industrial forklifts. Strong troubleshooting skills related to mechanical or automated systems.
