POSITION SUMMARY
The Band III Machine Operator•2nd shift•will set up, operate, trouble shoot, and maintain bolt making equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Conducts machine troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance Able to read a micrometer and scale Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Must have, or be willing to obtain, a forklift license Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules and Carris Reels safety program Maintain clean and orderly work areas Excellent attitude, communication, and team work skills All other duties as required Education /
Experience:
Prior machine operation/manufacturing experience preferred General knowledge of small hand tools. Forklift experience/license preferred High School Diploma or educational equivalent preferred Math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Self-motivated and able to work independently Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations Proficiency in reading a tape measure Occasional lifting may be required
