Filler Machine Operator

About us! Andersen Dairy, Inc has been a part of the Battle Ground community for over 55 years. We began producing milk in 1966, at the same location in Battle Ground, as it does today. We play a positive role in the community, giving back through local events, food and toy drives, recycling and jobs to the local community. Our milk plant and trucking fleet work together to full fill over 34 grocery stores milk, cream, water and juice needs. Our employee management team works closely together to ensure quality products, positive work environment and continuous growth. 9am to done, with Sunday and Wednesday off. This will turn into a rotating Wed/Sat schedule giving you 2 days off in a row every other week. The schedule is non-negotiable, including the need to be flexible with end of shift varying based on each day, the orders etc.

Duties:

Set up, operate and maintain filling machine Ability to enter plant codes, expiration dates into coders Operate labelers and effectively power down each piece of equipment Accurately document all production runs, down time, weights, code dates and label verification Collect first and last of product changes for lab testing Perform and record quality checks to ensure integrity and package quality Perform product changeovers accurately with minimal product and packaging lost at filler Sanitize fillers at specified intervals and protect product integrity at all times Ability to access machine problems and related issues effectively and communicate to maintenance and management Maintain shift logs of production Follow all GMP and safety regulations at all times Maintain and update HAACP documentation sheets Maintain equipment and work areas in clean, orderly, and safe condition: Pre-op inspection for fillers Collect required samples needed for Quality Control testing Perform safety inspections in manufacturing or industrial setting

Other:

our Filler Operator will be trained to run multiple machines and give break/lunch relief. This position requires standing all day, lots of bending and walking. The ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Environment:

Can be very warm and humid. Lots of moving parts. Having GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) experience is a huge plus!
