  • "RG ProBuilders" a growing, locally owned Design + build firm with a fun, professional culture and a years + backlog of work is accepting applications for the position of: Construction purchasing / buyout coordinator
  • operating out of either our OR / WA or Phoenix, AZ locations. First and foremost

Tenacity Critical thinking Process Detailed The position will work closely and interface with the entire project management team including CAD design, construction admin, project managers and superintendents. As we continue to grow and duties are delegated between personnel or departments, the position duties may change
  • but could/will entail duties including: paperwork and tracking related to construction including bidding documents, RFI's, updating and document project tracking software, perform "buyout" and awarding subcontracts, and assisting as needed to the field superintendent staff in their duties as well.
The position may also require participation in pre-construction or job update meetings and sometimes visiting the jobsites. Ability to multi task and communicate professionally
  • verbally and in writing is a must.
This position is a great opportunity for someone with trades experience looking to get into project management. Construction knowledge and / or experience with reading blueprints preferred. Attention to detail is a MUST! Position Overview The Buyout Coordinator is responsible for managing the subcontractor buyout process from start to finish. This role ensures projects are competitively bid, properly scoped, and awarded within budget and schedule. What You'll Do Build and organize Scopes of Work from project documents Send and manage RFQs (Request for Quotes) to subcontractors Track bids and budgets in Estimator Sheets (Smartsheets) Review bids for accuracy, scope coverage, and compliance Coordinate with PM & Superintendent to select subcontractors Issue Award Letters and Purchase Orders Maintain clear communication with subcontractors and internal team What Success Looks Like Buyouts completed on time for each project 3+ qualified bids per trade (when applicable) Projects awarded within or under budget Minimal scope gaps or change orders due to missed scope Fast turnaround from RFQ → Award Skills & Experience Construction experience (project coordination, estimating, or similar) preferred Ability to read plans and understand scopes of work Strong organization and attention to detail Comfortable managing multiple projects at once Good communication with subs and internal team Experience with tools like Smartsheets (or similar) is a plus Tools You'll Use Smartsheets CompanyCam Electronic documents Internal file systems Why This Role Matters You directly impact: Project profitability Schedule reliability Quality of subcontractors on our jobs Who This Role is For Someone who: Likes process, organization, and execution Can manage details without losing the big picture Is proactive with communication and follow-up Wants to grow in construction operations What we

Required Qualifications:
Self starter with a positive attitude and teamwork mentality! 2+ years of residential construction experience in similar position, or trades experience. Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) Employment history reflecting long term employment
