Starting pay depends on qualifications:
Manufacturing Specialist I
- starts $19.20 per hour
Manufacturing Specialist II
- starts at $20.35 per hour
Manufacturing Specialist III
- starts at $21.
57 per hour
Other Compensation and Benefits
Target Cash Bonus with potential payout of up to 2% ofearnedwages
Shift differentials are paid at the rate of an additional 10% for hours worked between 5:30PM and 12:00AM and at 15% for hours worked between 12:00AM and 5:30AM

Responsibilities:
Learns and performs electromechanical assembly operations
Operates test equipment
Uses manual and electronic tools for mechanical and optical assembly
Enters production data into computer-based system
Contributes as a valued team member
Performs various production tasks which may include working in a clean room environment, wearing clean room garments, using a microscope, handlingsolvents, and working with tools
Engages in production activities according to the documented work instructions and standards
Identifies and reports any irregularities which are not complaint with work instructions
Ensures work is completed in a safe manner and complies with all safety standards
Checks equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activity
May engage in basic troubleshooting
Employees use a variety of hand tools, soldering tools, laser tools, and custom-built equipment for assembly and testing.

Must be dependable and reliable.

Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a clean room environment and following applicable gowning, cleanliness, and contamination-control protocols.
Ability to sit/stand/walk for 8-to-12-hour shift.
Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying tasks are common, with most items weighing less than 5 lbs (some up to 35 lbs).
Fine motor skills, manual dexterity and a steady hand are essential for handling small parts and tools.
Visual acuity (sharpness, depth perception, color differentiation, peripheral awareness) is required for inspection and assembly tasks.
Stability and balance are needed to maneuver items between stations safely.
