Job Description
- Job Title: Hollow Cut Operator
- Job Description
- The Hollow Cut Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining hollow cutting machinery to produce precision tubes and components that meet quality and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to production specifications, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Responsibilities
- + Configure and calibrate hollow cutting machines and related equipment.
+ Operate machinery to cut, shape, and finish hollow tubes according to specifications.
+ Select and measure raw materials accurately.
+ Use precision tools like micrometers and calipers to verify tolerances and dimensions.
+ Inspect workpieces during and after processing for defects or deviations.
+ Document production data and maintain compliance with quality standards.
+ Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
+ Perform routine machine maintenance and report issues promptly.
+ Work closely with team members to meet production goals.
+ Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Essential Skills
- + High school diploma or GED. + Prior experience in machine operation or metal fabrication. + Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments. + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. + Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods. + Basic computer and math skills; ability to pass a math-oriented test.

- + Production experience. + General labor and machine operation skills. + Safety maintenance knowledge. + Experience with hand tools, machine cutting, tooling, and titanium. + Labor and inspecting skills.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $22.
39 - $22.39/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
