Machine Operator

We are urgently hiring machine operators in Newport, WA - Pay $20-$22/hr Job Description As a Winder/Kitter, you will operate equipment to produce graphite or fiberglass unidirectional prepreg (skins), and then cut these skins into 0/90 oriented kits of material. These kits serve as face sheet plies for honeycomb sandwich panels.

SHIFTS :

Choose between weekend night shifts from Friday to Sunday/Monday (4pm-4am) or weekend day shifts from Friday-Sunday/Monday (4am-4pm) Responsibilities Operate machinery to produce unidirectional prepreg skins. Cut skins into 0/90 oriented kits for honeycomb sandwich panels. Follow production work orders to formulate each product. Complete each step of the work order and perform in-process quality checks. Report to the Winder Production Supervisor. Work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently. Essential Skills 2+ years of relevant, steady work history preferred. Experience in manufacturing is a plus. Proficiency in English speaking, reading, and writing. Good basic math skills. Legible handwriting and printing.
