Want a 4-day work wee k, $26.71 per hour to start on a pay scale with raises already scheduled, and a team that trains you on the machines? This temp-to-hire Machine Operator role is a fit if you have at least 6 months of machine experience, show up reliably, and want to grow. You will work for a company that has been building aerial lift equipment in the Puget Sound area since 1966 - the boom lifts and scissor lifts you see on jobsites across the country. The fab floor runs lasers, press brakes, lathes, mills, and tube benders, and this company is known for promoting from within. Machine Operator Duties Operate machining and fabrication equipment including lasers, press brakes, lathes, mills, and tube benders Produce parts to specification within required cycle times Follow the daily check sheet to record work completed and control process flow Learn setups, tooling selection, and print reading with training provided Maintain machine and work area standards for safety and housekeeping
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 10-hour days, with two start time options: 5:00am to 3:30pm 5:30am to 4:00pm
Overtime:
up to 2 hours after your shift, plus Friday shifts of up to 10 hours, often optional and occasionally required.
Pay:
$26.71 per hour to start on a published wage scale with scheduled increases at 6, 12, and 18 months and beyond.
