Job Description

Assembly Technician•Technical Glass Products•Snoqualmie, WA Allegion is seeking entry level Assemblers in Snoqualmie, WA at our Technical Glass Products facility. The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling and preparing all fabricated and finished products (doors) for shipment to the customer.
Schedule:
Monday•Thursday 5:00 AM•3:30 PM (4x10s) plus opportunities for overtime
What You Will Do:
Perform final assembly on products, using hand or power tools based on drawings and work instructions. Fit and install hardware to frame. Cut and fit channels to frame using conventional cutting equipment. Install gasketing per protocol and drawings. Inspect completed operations for quality, accuracy and quantity. Expedite material as required. Inspect finished products for defects. Allocate material used to the proper pick-list. Locate & position material as required. Prioritize and schedule assembly operations to ensure on-time delivery per requirements. Check material and product for defects and correct dimensions. Document the operations performed and verify all operations have been completed as specified on the documents. Report all issues and inconsistencies. Use Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for materials and operations not in compliance. Initiate corrective actions to get NCRs resolved and get material back into production. What You Need to
Succeed:
1+ years of manufacturing / mechanical assembly experience preferred. Experience using hand tools preferred. Forklift experience preferred. Attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints, production and technical drawings. Able to complete assigned tasks in a limited time frame. Strong organizational, basic computer, and math skills. Remains alert in a high-risk environment. Assesses priorities to determine what is urgently needed. Maintains schedule and tasks despite interruptions.
Physical Demands:
Manual Dexterity:
Ability to handle parts and tools with precision.
Repetitive Motion:
Perform repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands.
Standing Duration:
Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
Lifting Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Lift Assist Devices:
Use of overhead crane and forklift with training may be required.
Environmental Exposure:
Ability to work in environments with noise, chemicals, dust, sharp objects, moving/rotating mechanical parts, and temperature extremes. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Respirator, fall protection, welding hood, etc. may be required depending on job duty and/or work area What You'll Get from

Compensation:
This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experiences. The expected
Base Hourly Range:
$22.25•$27.02. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
