PM Job Details:

The Machine Operator is responsible for managing multiple tasks across five different machines. The role begins with learning the various salts that are processed on five separate lines. Once these salts are packaged, they must be cased, palletized, and transferred.

Responsibilities:

Turn equipment on/off and able to monitor and make proper adjustments on the fly Ability to lift and stack and case 18 - 40-pound pallets throughout an 8 hour shift Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs and bend for an 8 hour shift Work with manual filling equipment and make adjustments and change overs effectively Machine fill and label packaged salt bags, tubs or jars to the required specifications Move the completed pallet to the Finished Goods area Demonstrate the willingness and ability to help other teams as needed Must pay attention to detail and have great organizational skills Must be a self-starter and finisher as you may have to work alone at times Must be able to complete tasks on time to maintain the needs of the production schedule Maintain a positive attitude and adjust to change quickly. (Forward Thinking!) Possesses excellent people skills as production works with all departments Ensure all orders are Complete, Accurate and On Time for the order fulfillment team Keep your work area clean and always organized. (Audit Ready!) Assemble, clean and break down equipment at beginning or end of shift Complete paperwork and perform change over from one product to another Utilize the following equipment: Bag lift Tape sealer Case erector Ink jet printer

Scales Skills & Attributes:

Strong interpersonal skills focused on teamwork Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift Forklift and Electric pallet jack preferred but not required (client will train in-house) Detail oriented, with a commitment to quality Manage time efficiently and effectively What's

REQUIRED?

2-3 years production or manufacturing experience (Food is a BIG plus, but not required) Machine Operator experience in a production environment
