Job Description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Pouch Operator role in Woodland, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor pouch packaging equipment to ensure efficient and accurate production operations. Load packaging materials, films, and product supplies into machinery while maintaining production flow. Perform routine quality checks on finished pouches to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications. Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor operational issues to minimize downtime. Accurately record production data, material usage, and quality control information. Maintain cleanliness and organization of production equipment and work areas in accordance with safety and sanitation standards. Assist with machine changeovers, adjustments, and preventative maintenance tasks as needed. Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies while operating equipment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines. Promptly report equipment malfunctions, product defects, or safety concerns to management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior manufacturing or machine operating experience is a plus. Experience operating packaging or pouch equipment preferred but not required. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Flexibility to work varying shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Compensation:
• $19.25-$31.28/hour DOE (Depending on Experience).
