Manufacturing Process Operator I DSM-Firmenich

  • $24 an hour Shape what the world touches—one batch at a time Step into a hands-on role where you'll operate production equipment, follow detailed run plans, and help manufacture innovative products that align with cGMPs, SOPs, safety standards, and site performance goals.
What a typical shift can look like You arrive ready to run. You review the plan with your Shift Team Lead, stage materials, and set up equipment.
Throughout the shift you:
Operate and adjust processing and packaging equipment; add ingredients and complete clean-in-place or manual cleaning as directed. Follow SOPs and cGMP practices to consistently meet product specifications. Keep production flowing by communicating delays, deviations, or equipment issues to fellow operators and the Shift Team Lead.
Record every step:
complete Manufacturing Performance Report (MPR) entries, cleaning records, logbooks, and withdrawal sheets. Check quality in real time by taking equipment readings, examining particles under a microscope, and running in-process tests. Model the Arcadia Code of Conduct and actively participate in dsm-firmenich Integrated Continuous Improvement (DICI) initiatives. Take on additional tasks as assigned by leadership to support production goals. What you'll bring High school diploma or equivalent (Process Technology or similar training preferred). At least 6 months of experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
Availability for training/orientation:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m

m. Willingness to work a 12-hour night schedule on a 2-2-3 rotation. Ability to safely use forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other mechanized equipment. Comfort with changing production priorities, overtime, and varied shift patterns. Proficiencies Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) Measuring and Quoting Blending Heavy Material Handling Forklift Licensed Experience in a Manufacturing Environment Rewarding what you contribute The expected hourly pay range is $21.00
