Quad is seeking a Machine Operator Trainee to support production of technology-enabled marketing materials. In this entry-level role, you'll learn to set up, operate and monitor automated print and finishing equipment used in integrated print and digital campaigns. Under close supervision, you'll follow standard operating procedures, perform basic quality checks, log production data and help keep machines stocked and running safely. Responsibilities Learn to set up and safely operate automated print and finishing machines Monitor equipment during runs and respond to basic alarms or jams Follow standard operating and safety procedures at all times Perform basic quality checks on printed materials and packaging Load materials and supplies, and keep machines stocked during production Accurately record production counts, downtime and other data Assist with routine cleaning and minor machine adjustments Work closely with experienced operators and supervisors to build skills Participate in training and cross-training across related equipment Contribute to a clean, organized and safety-focused work area Required Skills Machine operation Equipment setup Basic mechanical troubleshooting Quality control inspection Production data entry Safety procedures Print production processes Basic computer skills Reading work orders/specs Time management
