Job Description

Position Summary Our Quick Coupling Division is looking for new Parts Finisher to help keep the world moving. A Parts Finisher is responsible for performing plating and parts finishing operations that support product quality, production throughput, and workplace safety. This position operates multiple finishing and processing equipment, inspects parts for conformance, follows established work instructions and safety requirements, and helps maintain efficient production flow in a manufacturing environment. Parker's Quick Coupling Division is the largest manufacturer of quick couplings in the world. A quick coupling is used to provide a fast, make-or-break connection of fluid or gas transfer lines. Our plants provide critical equipment for many different industries including Agriculture, Construction, and Data Processing.
Responsibilities Primary Duties:
Learn, set up, and operate rack plater equipment in accordance with established procedures. Inspect parts for plating quality and verify conformance to specifications and standards. Operate thermal deburr equipment to support finishing and part quality requirements. Operate roto finisher equipment as assigned. Perform parts wash processes in accordance with work instructions and process requirements. Operate parts stripping line equipment safely and effectively. Operate heat treat furnace and related testing equipment as required. Read and identify part numbers accurately to ensure proper processing and routing. Follow standard work instructions, operating procedures, safety requirements, and quality expectations. Handle materials and components carefully to avoid damage, contamination, or processing errors. Work independently to complete assigned tasks while also collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors. Maintain work area cleanliness and organization, including proper chemical handling practices. Support production schedules by completing assigned duties efficiently and consistently.
Physical Requirements:
Continuously lifting and moving light weight material (1-25 lbs.) Frequently lifting and moving average weight material (25-35 lbs) Occasional lifting and moving average weight material up to 50 lbs. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Understand part numbers and be able to read them. Be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Detail oriented. Good judgment to comply with instructions and standard procedures, methods or practices. Need to understand and be able to work with and around chemicals. Need to have basic shop. If have not attended basic shop, will be required to attend next class.
Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule Pay:
Starting Hourly Wage - $21.50
