2:30pm-10:00pm QPS Employment Group is hiring an Assembler for a company in East Troy, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Assembly Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and gather components/materials for assembly
• Assist in the setup and jigging of truss assemblies on assembly table per design drawings
• Place wood components in assembly jig
• Assemble roof trusses, floor trusses, or wall panels using proper tools while taking direction from supervisors and/or leads
• Attach connector plates to trusses as directed by assembly drawings
• Verify specifications by measuring completed components
• Continuously evaluate quality of materials and final product, reporting any defects immediately
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying company's program and work rules
• Accurately record job times/counts and account for personal labor time records appropriately

Assembly Requirements:

• High school diploma for GED
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and moving about all shift
• Ability to lift, move, and push up to 80 pounds
• Ability to follow work instructions and work in a team environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to operate pneumatic tools, hand tools, hammers, and staplers
• Experience is a plus but willing to train the right candidate
• Construction related background such as carpentry a plus
