Office Staff Job Descriptions At Skydive Milwaukee / Sky Knights, we have three main office staff positions: General Office, Student Coordinator, and Manifest. Each day you work, you will be assigned to one of these roles based on the dropzone's needs and your availability. However, you are also expected to be flexible and willing to perform the duties of other positions if necessary. Sometimes, you will be working alone or only with one other employee, and you will have to multitask and handle responsibilities from the other job roles. You will also need to perform any additional duties as assigned by a board member or the manager. As office staff, you are the face of the dropzone and you play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.

General Office Job Description:

As General Office at Skydive Milwaukee / Sky Knights, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the dropzone. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Opening and closing the dropzone, ensuring that all doors are locked and all equipment is put away Punching in and out using the designated timeclock system Staffing the counter, answering the phone, responding to emails, and greeting customers who come onto the premises Ensuring the presentability of the club by completing daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities Maintaining a positive, upbeat, and energetic attitude when interacting with customers

Manifest Job Description:

As Manifest at Skydive Milwaukee / Sky Knights, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of the day. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Remaining at the manifest station at most times. Ensuring that staff are efficiently introduced to students and are able to meet loads in a timely fashion. Finding the most appropriate balance between the requirements of the sport jumpers and the student jumpers. Ensuring that the staff members are being used in a rotating order relative to how they signed in for the day. Assigning staff to students in the computer. Giving calls over the PA system to inform the staff and sport jumpers when the next load will be departing. Staying in contact with the aircraft during operation. Ensuring that pilot requests are taken care of. Ensuring that the number of people on the load is confirmed with the pilot prior to take off.

As a Student Coordinator at Skydive Milwaukee / Sky Knights, you will be responsible for managing the daily student activities and ensuring an efficient flow for the day. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Prioritizing and managing student activities while also assisting with office responsibilities as time permits. Manifesting students and organizing groups. Understanding video sales and managing student financing plans. Handling student operations, including recurrency training guidelines and winter weather operations. Dealing with customer complaints and emergency/injury situations. Coordinating with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the dropzone.
