Job Description

Job Overview Gumz Farms is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to oversee critical production and packaging operations within our food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and optimizing production processes to ensure product quality, food safety, and equipment reliability. Responsibilities. Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and quality output. Manage product changeovers for efficiencies Check bag weights Keep working area clean Routine maintenance of packing equipment Check quality of product Keep date code up to date Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules while maintaining high-quality standards Notify needed repairs to maintenance Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting as necessary Maintain high quality food safety Ability to understand customer orders Ensure all packaging information is correct Work productively as a team member by showing a willingness to take on other tasks when not working as a machine operator. Strive for continuous improvement Skills Must be at least 18 years. Must be a good communicator with the ability to adhere to instructions Good math skills He/she must be able to work in different positions for a very long period - stand, sit, bend, and kneel Willingness to work extended weeks/overtime Work productively as a team member Awareness of work area for cleanliness and safety hazards Commitment to proper maintenance of equipment and property Perform all other duties assigned by management Mechanically inclined Join us to be part of a vibrant manufacturing team where your technical expertise drives quality production! Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
