Job Description

Our client, a leading aluminum die casting manufacturer, is seeking a Die Cast Setup Technician to join their team. As a Die Cast Setup Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing team supporting Production, Tooling, Maintenance, and Quality. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a safety-first mindset that will align successfully in the organization .

Pay Range:
$28.50 to $41.00/hr What's the Job? Perform die changes and machine setups on high-pressure aluminum die casting equipment. Install and remove dies, trim tools, shot-end components, and auxiliary equipment. Set and adjust process parameters including temperatures, pressures, shot speeds, and cycle timing. Troubleshoot machine, process, and casting quality issues to optimize production performance. Support startup approvals, first-piece inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, uptime, and efficiency. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED; technical training is a plus. Experience in die casting, manufacturing, machine setup, or a related industrial environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems. Ability to read blueprints, setup sheets, and process documentation.
