2nd, 3rd & Weekend Shift Machine Operator - Medical Manufacturing (Hudson, WI) Job Description This role operates laser machinery to produce high‑quality medical products, including biowearable sensors such as glucose monitors, wound‑care bandages, and diagnostic devices. You will work with multiple types of machines, participate in cross‑training, and ensure products meet strict quality and documentation standards in a fast‑paced production environment at a growing medical manufacturing company in Hudson, WI. Responsibilities Operate laser machinery to manufacture medical products such as biowearable sensors, wound‑care items, and diagnostic devices. Run machine cycles according to established procedures and production schedules. Inspect parts for quality, dimensions, and overall appearance. Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to confirm parts meet specifications. Perform functional tests to ensure parts meet performance standards. Package finished items accurately and securely. Document production data manually and digitally. Follow safety and cleanliness procedures on the production floor. Cross‑train on multiple machines to support flexible production needs. Collaborate with a small shift team to maintain productivity and resolve basic issues. Essential Skills Machine operation experience in production or manufacturing. Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new machinery. High attention to detail for inspection, testing, and packaging. Proficiency with micrometers and calipers . Comfort with laser equipment . Basic assembly and packaging experience . Reliable work history . Willingness to cross‑train . Accurate documentation skills . Additional Skills & Qualifications 6+ months of experience in manufacturing, machine operation, mechanical work, or medical assembly preferred. Entry‑level candidates considered if mechanically inclined with stable work history. Experience in medical assembly, production, or laser operation is a plus.
