Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Monitor coating machines to ensure materials do not run out during operation.
- Use an overhead crane to remove empty spools and replace them with full spools once properly trained.
- Verify that all materials required for daily production are available and ready for use.
- Use a retractable box cutter to splice material before it is fully depleted and transition new material into place to keep machines running.
- Review work instructions to confirm the correct materials are being used for each job.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies at all times.
Machine Operator:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Ability to walk and stand for the majority of the shift.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and twist repeatedly during the shift.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
