Machine Operator (2nd Shift) — Mon-Thurs — $19.54/hr + 10% shift differential after training

$19.54/hour (W2) Shift differential: 10% once training is complete and you move to 2nd shift Schedule (Mon-Thurs): Training (1st shift): 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM After training (2nd shift): 3:00 PM - 1:00

Try-Before-Hire ABR Employment Services is hiring Machine Operators for a manufacturer in Manitowoc. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, precision measurement, and consistent weekday scheduling ( no weekends ). What you'll do Perform in-process and final inspections per job instructions Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, bore micrometers, and dial indicator/height gauge Read and interpret part prints/blueprints and understand critical dimensions tied to SPC (Statistical Process Control) Use an SPC computer system and follow customer requirements Record production/material/quality results accurately in operating systems Maintain cleanliness and safety around equipment (scrap removal; address oil/coolant or slip hazards promptly) Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE (including hearing protection) What we're looking for High School Diploma / GED Strong attention to detail; able to perform accurate, precise work Ability to read, write, and do basic calculations Team-oriented with solid communication skills Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Able to lift up to 50 lbs Work environment Temperature-controlled production floor Oil, coolant, and noise present (hearing protection required) Must complete and pass required safety training/testing Equal Opportunity Employer ABR Employment Services is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
