• Job Description
• The role involves operating various equipment to produce natural food dyes, extracts, and flavorings. You will be ensuring production goals are met in a safe and efficient manner by setting up and tending to various types of machines
• Responsibilities
• + Operate equipment such as liquid emulsions, cookers, filtering press, various pumps, mixing equipment, kettle cooker, dry blender, evaporator, and forklift.

+ Maintain housekeeping and sanitation of production and warehouse areas. + Handle shipping and receiving, including loading and unloading trucks. + Complete Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) of emulsion plant equipment. + Work with chemicals, including caustics and acids. + Prepare product samples and complete necessary documentation. + Collaborate with team members and leadership while primarily working independently.

• Essential Skills
• + 2+ years of general production work at the same company. + Proficiency in machine operation, packaging, and troubleshooting. + Ability to work independently in a GMP environment.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Forklift certification. + Ability to work with chemicals and hot materials. + Capability to climb stairs and ladders. + Physical ability to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, and reach continuously throughout the day. + Maintain coordination and balance while handling up to 55 lbs. of materials or products.
