Your role Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Liquid Operator to join our team in a dynamic food processing environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment while adhering to food safety standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operational Tasks Safely complete the receipt, inspection, process, and transfer of raw materials through the liquid cook process. Locate product code specification in ERP (AX System). Confirm correct formulation for product code spec is loaded into PLC of BBU. Load and unload BBU; operate finished goods loading station. Operate bulk loading of ingredients from bulk powder silo and load bulk ingredient hopper from alternative BBU. Fill super sack as standard applies; generate and print labels. Confirm pallet size/quality and stage; wrap and secure palletized product. Apply product labels to pallet for shipment/warehouse storage; transfer pallet to staging area for pickup. Label and restock unused ingredients. Operate Sweco Vibratory, liquid reactor, and dosing stations. Perform CIP (Clean-In-Place) for blending area and flow plates (disassemble, clean, and flush). Troubleshoot weight variation issues, bulk powder silo, soy oil addition, powder sifter, BBU feeding issues, filter receiver, and dust collection system. Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness standards. Verify that the entire system (reception hooper, mixer, sifter) is empty before starting a new work order. Preparation and verification of ingredients for the next cooking according to the formulation. Monitor, record, and accurately perform in-process testing per formulation. Quality Components Reference and comply with SPF Quality Manual (Conform / Non-Conformance). Knowledge and compliance of material, ingredient, and product code specifications. Fulfill HACCP standards; observe with GMP's. Describe food safety risks (insects, leaks, product failures, foreign objects, micro contaminants). Adhere to EU and Non-EU Standards, GMO and Non-GMO Standards. Technical Components Forklift Certification; hoist operation. Scale verification and calibration. Proficient use of production hand tools. Read applicable gauges (thermometers, PH meter, viscosity meter, NIR). Ability to run touch panels and control screens. Understand process flow and interaction of equipment. Safety Components Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Lock Out / Tag Out procedures. Awareness of slip/trip/fall hazards. Proper chemical storage and use; proper lifting techniques. Safety event procedure; follow accident and incident reporting procedure. Attend annual/monthly safety meetings as scheduled. Leadership & Teamwork Maintain a positive attitude; demonstrate good communication and cooperation skills. Share ideas for process improvement. Follow all company policies, rules, and regulations. Assist with training and instruction for new hires and transfer of assignment. Participate as requested in GMP, ISO, or FSSC audits. About you Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. Experience in food manufacturing is preferred. GMP, Hygienic Practices knowledge is preferred. Good communication skills. Unrestricted range of motion; self-motivated and team player. Strong attention to product color variation, odor sensitivity, and texture. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and maintaining production documentation. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
