Position Summary:

Sedona Staffing is seeking a Machine Operator to help ensure smooth and efficient production in a cheese packaging facility. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting packaging equipment, monitoring product quality, and meeting daily production goals. Additional duties include completing production paperwork, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assisting with employee training. Ideal candidates should have previous manufacturing or machine operation experience, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand for 10-hour shifts, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in cold temperatures. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and adjust packaging machines. Troubleshoot basic machine problems. Check products to make sure they meet quality standards. Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures. Complete daily production paperwork and track materials used. Assist with changing production lines and starting new products. Train and help new employees operate equipment safely. Keep work areas clean and organized. Work with team members to meet daily production goals. Qualifications Previous manufacturing, packaging, food production, or machine operation experience preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Basic math and computer skills. Ability to follow instructions and production schedules. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to train other employees. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
