Do you enjoy working with machinery, solving problems, and seeing the results of your work every day? Are you looking for a stable career with opportunities to grow? InkWorks Printing is looking for a motivated Machine Operator to join our 2nd Shift Slitting Department. As part of our converting team, you'll operate precision slitting equipment that prepares finished labels and flexible packaging for final production and shipment. No two days are exactly alike, and every roll you produce helps deliver quality products to customers across the country. Shift Schedule Monday•
Thursday:
2:00 PM•11:00
PM Friday:
10:00 AM•2:00 PM (Overtime based on business needs) Starting Wage Starting at $18.00 per hour Additional compensation based on experience and qualifications. What You'll Do As a Slitting Machine Operator, you'll play a key role in converting large master rolls into customer-ready products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Your responsibilities include:
Set up and operate precision slitting equipment Read and interpret production work orders Accurately slit materials to customer specifications Inspect products throughout production to ensure quality standards are met Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic preventative maintenance Complete production paperwork accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all safety, GMP, and quality procedures Work with teammates to meet daily production goals What We're Looking For We're searching for someone who: Enjoys working with machinery and manufacturing equipment Has strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Pays close attention to detail Takes pride in producing quality work Is dependable with excellent attendance Works well independently and as part of a team Can stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred—but we'll train the right person!
