Job Description

About Us:
InkWorks Printing is looking for a Machine Operator who can keep production moving, quality tight, and downtime to a minimum. This role is critical to ensuring our labels and packaging meet both customer expectations and food-grade quality standards. If you like hands-on work, solving problems on the fly, and being part of a fast-paced production environment—this is your lane.
Overview:
As a machine operator, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of several different machines. Your primary role will be to ensure that each job is completed efficiently, accurately, and on time. You will work closely with the production, the art department, and the front office to troubleshoot issues, meet tight deadlines, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor machines (such as Slitter, Lamination, Die Cutter, or Laser) to produce high-quality product.
  • Perform machine setups, adjustments, and calibrations to ensure precise results.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or print quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent downtime and ensure longevity.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure color accuracy and quality control throughout the production process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Track and report job progress, material usage, and any equipment issues to the production supervisors. Experience
  • Previous experience as a machine operator in a digital printing environment a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in materials handling, including safe lifting techniques and equipment operation.
Hours:
Monday-Thursday 10AM-7PM, Fridays 10AM-2PM.
Wage:
$18.00
