Job Description

Machine Operator Shift:

2nd, (12:30pm-8:30pm)

Pay:

$17.50-$25/hr (Based on experience) The Machine Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks; set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines. The Machine Operator will also be responsible for inspecting incoming supplied packaging material to its finished product in accordance with our specifications. Seal integrity

Weight control

Metal detection

X-Ray monitoring

Box and Label print quality

Cap Torque

Induction Seal

Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment

Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops

Ability to work in a moderate to fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment

Housekeeping and sanitation

Qualification:

Proven experience as a Machine Operator

Reliable

Working Knowledge of Packaging Equipment or similar equipment.

Understanding of production procedures and environment. Adhere to our Safety and Health Regulations. Ability to read specification.

Ability to trouble shoot (analytical skills)

Attention to detail.
