Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-3:30 PM
Pay:
$21•27/hr (based on experience) Position type: Try-Before-Hire ABR Employment Services is hiring a Laser Burn Table Operator for a manufacturing/fabrication environment in the Manitowoc area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in precision, and wants steady weekday hours.
JOB DUTIES
Set up and operate a laser cutting/burn table to cut sheet metal (steel, aluminum, and other materials) to specification Load and align metal sheets for accurate cutting Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders Inspect cut pieces for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications Measure parts to ensure tolerances are met (tape measure, calipers, micrometers) Identify defects or errors and correct issues during the cutting process Perform routine maintenance and replace consumables (tips, lenses, nozzles) as needed Troubleshoot basic machine issues and make minor adjustments to keep production moving Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures/PPE requirements Work closely with the fabrication/production team to meet deadlines and quality expectations
REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings and follow work instructions Strong attention to detail and quality focus Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills Ability to work in a physically active manufacturing environment
PREFERRED
