  • 03:30 PM Dependable and detail-oriented assembly professional with experience using hand and power tools, tape measures, work orders, and assembly instructions to accurately complete customer orders.
Skilled in packaging, material handling, visual inspections, and maintaining safe, organized work areas. Strong team player who can safely lift up to 50 pounds, work on concrete for extended periods, and consistently meet quality and production expectations.
Assembly Responsibilities:
  • Remove products from container and stack them in the appropriate areas
  • Cut plastic wrap if needed to release single products
  • Work in a team to complete the unload in a safe and time effective manner
  • Unwrap and rewrap the packages and items
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble pieces following the instructions of the travelers
  • Keep track of the item counts to ensure customer orders are completed correctly
  • Marks materials with identifying information as needed
  • Report any and all mechanical problems to lead person
  • Package and wrap each item according to the traveler
  • Use a tape measure to check measurements when needed
  • Sweeping and cleaning of the work area as needed
  • Completing visual inspections of the products Requirements for
Assembly:
  • Must be able to stand and walk on concrete for 100% of shift
  • Must be able to reach forward, grasp and use hands for 100% of shift
  • Must be able to twist, bend at the waist 100% of shift
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in using whole numbers
  • Be able to read and understand work orders and verbal instruction
