Job Title:
Bottling Machine Operator - 2nd Shift Job Description Join our dynamic production team as a Bottling Machine Operator on the 2nd Shift. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining sleeving and bottling machines, ensuring efficient and high-quality production. Responsibilities Follow procedures to operate and clean sleeving and bottling machines. Ensure sleeves are placed correctly on bottles and prevent bottlenecks. Verify date codes for accuracy during daily runs. Communicate machine status and unacceptable bottle quality to supervisors. Provide relief to other Machine Operators during downtime or re-assignment to maintain departmental efficiency. Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on machines promptly. Report to workstation on time, wearing proper work attire, and assist in work area setup. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Sanitization Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Conduct behavior in compliance with company employee policies. Perform additional duties as assigned. Essential Skills Proficiency in machine operation with at least 2+ years of experience. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Experience with production and packaging machines. Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Additional Skills & Qualifications Preferred experience with GMP. The environment requires adherence to GMP standards, including wearing hair nets, beard nets, smocks, and steel-toed shoes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
