Job Description
Job Title:
Production Helper / Bulk Machine Operator Job Description The Production Helper / Bulk Machine Operator oversees key production line activities and works closely with shift production leadership, quality assurance, and mechanical staff to ensure that all finished products meet required quality and integrity standards. This role supports machine operation, packaging, and general production tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Review production sheets to determine which machines will run in order to follow the established production schedule. Set up date codes and bulk packaging machines according to product and packaging specifications. Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of equipment after use to maintain hygienic conditions. Inspect equipment prior to use and after cleaning to ensure proper operation and cleanliness. Maintain a clean and organized packaging room, especially while production is running. Safely pull and stage packaging materials needed for the daily production run. Understand and follow packaging processes, including matching lids, cups, and foils; monitoring the heat tunnel; keeping automatic feeders full; and ensuring correct bulk packaging. Measure pH of various products to determine when they are ready to be packaged. Monitor the quality of product going into cups or bulk packaging and report any issues promptly. Monitor product weights and maintain accurate records of all weight checks. Monitor all cups and bulk seals to ensure proper sealing and packaging integrity. Ensure all boxes are properly taped and secured before leaving the packaging area. Perform other production and general labor duties as assigned to support overall manufacturing operations. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Viroqua, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41600.00
•$66560.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. MEDICAL
