Schedule:
5600 AM-12:30 PM, 5AM start with overtime
Pay:
$22•24 per hour We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packaging Machine Operator to set up and operate packaging equipment while ensuring products are packaged efficiently and meet all quality, customer, food safety, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate assigned packaging machines safely and efficiently. Inspect equipment before line start-up and during product changeovers. Clean and sanitize equipment when changing from one product to another. Monitor packaging line performance and take ownership of production results. Maintain accurate and legible production records and documentation. Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment and personnel on the assigned line. Communicate with coworkers and maintenance staff to maintain optimal equipment performance. Follow all company safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory policies and procedures. Assist other departments and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. At least 1 year of packaging machine operator experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment preferred. Knowledge of manufacturing specifications and quality standards. Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, allergens, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Required Skills & Abilities Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues in partnership with maintenance. Ability to identify root causes and apply appropriate corrective actions. Ability to read and write English; bilingual skills are a plus. Basic math skills. Basic computer skills.
