Job Description

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a great company in Wisconsin Rapids that is seeking Full-Time Dryer Technicians to join their team. These are temp-to-hire opportunities offering pay and a consistent rotating schedule.

Schedule:
2-2-3 Rotating Schedule Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days Every other weekend off 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Job Responsibilities:
Adjust dryer temperatures to remain compliant with customer specifications. Monitor product depth in dryers and make adjustments as needed. Monitor belts and operate cleaning brushes to minimize temperature fluctuations caused by burnt product. Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, coordinate and direct monthly dryer shutdown cleaning crews while improving cleaning efficiency and reducing downtime. Properly operate and care for all equipment. Perform a variety of routine and technical production tasks following established procedures. Conduct bi-annual dryer analyses and additional analyses as requested. Perform moisture checks to ensure product quality standards are met. Spray out dryers and shakers as needed to maintain consistent dryer feed, with a minimum frequency of once per hour. Follow all safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Manufacturing or production experience preferred. Forklift experience preferred. Basic computer skills required. Strong math and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
