Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented machine operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various machinery and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. This role is essential in ensuring the production of high-quality products while maintaining safety and efficiency in the workplace. 1. Operate the injection molding machines : The responsibilities include starting and adjusting the machine, loading raw materials, monitoring performance for quality and efficiency, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. 2. Operate the packaging automation machine : the startup, shutdown, and reset procedures, and ensure its proper and safe operation. a. Ability to identify and correct common alarms and errors that may occur during normal operation of the automation. b. Monitor and replenish the proper quantities of wraps to the bander stations, boxes to the case packer stations, glue to the glue station, and tape to the taping machines that are part of the automation. c. Clean and remove glue deposits, debris, wraps, and hangers from the automation before the end of the shift. d. Conduct random quality control checks and report any quality issues, i.e., burns, flashes, shorts, and pinches observed, to Q.C./shift supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Operating procedures and location of the operating handbook for the palletized injection machines, tape machines, pallet jack, and any other machines used. Obtain proper lifting techniques and literacy.
SKILLS:
The specific skill-based competencies necessary for effectively performing the job functions include operating company equipment, using both power and hand tools, adhering to safety practices, handling hazardous materials, utilizing measuring tools, and reading and following procedures outlined in operating manuals and safety policies. Additionally, a strong understanding of mechanical principles is required to operate and maintain complex machinery.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stoop, reach, stand, walk, lift, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, see, and use repetitive motions. Must be able to lift, pull, or push up to 30 pounds. Significant fine finger dexterity and good eye/hand coordination are required for operating machinery. The job requires significant standing for an extended period of time, up to an entire shift.

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
