Job Description Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Helper assists the Operators in the safe operation of plastic extrusionequipment to produce quality products.
Pay:
$19.00
Shift:
Night Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Knows and adheres to all safety rules and procedures.
- Follow direction of the Operator once production schedule is obtained.
- Inspect work in process for conformance to quality standards advising Operator of anydeficiencies.
- Make sure scrap is weighed and recorded daily.
- Bag bundles and stack.
- Take reclaim and neatly stack in repro area.
- Stack blanks in proper storage area.
- Move finished product to designated areas.
- Comply with Company standards with regard to housekeeping and 6S on machines andsurrounding areas.
- Ability to help troubleshoot when problems arise.
- Perform duties of other team members as required during breaks and absences.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of factory-related experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Awareness towards safety.
- Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and independently.
- Able to work overtime and on weekends.
Other Requirements:
- Operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
- Pushing, pulling, lifting weights over 30lbs.
- Eye/hand coordination.
- Must be able to routinely work in a "hot room" (up to 110 degrees F at times). Benefits and Perks
