Job Description Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Helper assists the Operators in the safe operation of plastic extrusionequipment to produce quality products.

Pay:

$19.00

Shift:

Night Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Knows and adheres to all safety rules and procedures.
  
• Follow direction of the Operator once production schedule is obtained.
  
• Inspect work in process for conformance to quality standards advising Operator of anydeficiencies.
  
• Make sure scrap is weighed and recorded daily.
  
• Bag bundles and stack.
  
• Take reclaim and neatly stack in repro area.
  
• Stack blanks in proper storage area.
  
• Move finished product to designated areas.
  
• Comply with Company standards with regard to housekeeping and 6S on machines andsurrounding areas.
  
• Ability to help troubleshoot when problems arise.
  
• Perform duties of other team members as required during breaks and absences.
  
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of factory-related experience.
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
  
• Awareness towards safety.
  
• Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and independently.
  
• Able to work overtime and on weekends.

Other Requirements:

• Operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
  
• Pushing, pulling, lifting weights over 30lbs.
  
• Eye/hand coordination.
  
• Must be able to routinely work in a "hot room" (up to 110 degrees F at times). Benefits and Perks
