A Textile Machine Operator may set up, operate, or tend machines that wind or twist textiles; or draw out and combine sliver, such as wool, hemp, or synthetic fibers. Includes slubber machine and drawing frame operators. They may set up, operate, or tend machines that cut textiles; knit, loop, weave, or draw in textiles.

KEY ACTIVITIES
Accurately log production metrics, such as quantities produced and downtime durations, and report any operational or quality concerns to supervisors for timely resolution. Ensure the machine runs smoothly during the production process, promptly addressing any malfunctions or inefficiencies to maintain consistent output quality. Conduct regular inspections of padded products for adherence to quality standards and perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, to prevent downtime.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1-Perform daily setup of the padding machine before production, ensuring all necessary adjustments are made for optimal operation. 2-Ensure that all padding materials (trays, pads, adhesive, etc.) required for the production process are prepared accurately and in sufficient quantity. 3-Monitor the production process to ensure the machine operates continuously and efficiently, identifying and resolving any potential issues promptly. 4-Inspect padded products to ensure they meet quality standards and report any quality concerns. 5-Conduct daily and periodic maintenance of the machine, including cleaning and lubrication tasks. 6-Identify and fix minor machine malfunctions and inform the maintenance team of more significant problems. 7-Record daily production quantities, machine downtime, staff attendance and other key data. 8-Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations during all activities to ensure a safe working environment. 9-Collaborate with other team members to optimize production efficiency and minimize material waste. 10-Regularly check the adhesive application to ensure consistent and proper adhesion of the padding glue. 11-Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring the machine and surrounding area are free of debris. 12-Follow production schedules and meet deadlines while maintaining the required quality standards. 13-Provide feedback on machine performance and suggest improvements for increased productivity. 14-Assist in the training of new operators to ensure proper understanding of machine operations and safety procedures. 15-Stay updated on machine operation manuals and company policies to ensure compliance with production standards. 16-To know their own duties in emergency procedures, know their own duties in fire prevention plan, to act in accordance with the manuals, procedures, standards, instructions and plans related BRC-IOP defined as described on booklets, brochures, etc. that has been given or will be given. 17-To adjust the adhesive machines, to inform the supervisor in case of problems. 18-Verification of the accuracy of the barcodes issued to the products, correct palletization and follow-up of the correct stretching.

Education:
Must be at least a primary school graduate.
