Job Description

About the Role As a Medical Device Assembly Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of critical surgical equipment. By utilizing precision hand tools and microscopic inspection techniques, you will directly contribute to patient safety and operational excellence within our specialized repair facility. Responsibilities Execute precise repairs and subassemblies on complex surgical instruments to meet rigorous quality standards. Diagnose mechanical issues by performing standardized diagnostic testing and identifying defective components for replacement. Ensure all reassembled devices function perfectly by conducting thorough performance testing against technical specifications. Proactively identify potential quality risks or process bottlenecks and communicate them to leadership for swift resolution. Maintain compliance with Standard Work Instructions (SWI) and contribute to organizational quality management objectives. Uphold a safe and efficient work environment by participating in regular workplace organization audits and safety assessments. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Strong manual dexterity and experience working with small hand tools or power tools. Ability to interpret technical instructions and follow detailed assembly procedures. Commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards in a production environment. Preferred Skills Prior experience in electronics repair, jewelry making, or small engine maintenance. Familiarity with ISO quality standards or similar regulatory environments. Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems or circuit boards. Experience working under a microscope or with magnification equipment.
